On this very important occasion of presentation of my Credentials to His Excellency Mr Uhuru Kenyatta, President of the Republic of Kenya today, I convey my warmest greetings to the Government and the people of Kenya.
I am privileged to be representing India in Kenya and look forward to working with the Government of the Republic of Kenya to further strengthen our bilateral relations.
The third India-Africa Forum Summit to be held in New Delhi from 26th of this month will provide great opportunities to bring our relations even closer.
I am looking forward to the visits at the highest levels from Kenya to India and India to Kenya.
India's relations with Kenya are historical and extremely close, manifested by strong economic and commercial links and the extraordinary contribution made by Kenyan nationals of Indian origin.
I look forward to interacting with the Government, the people of Kenya and the India related organizations in Kenya to take our relations to a higher level and count on the cooperation of each one of you in my endeavour.
